Film Synopsis

Your Signs is a narrative that centers on a group of four friends as they enter into their last week of high school and, consequently, their last summer together in the small town of Stansle.  As the end of their time approaches, the friends look to celebrate and consecrate their exodus from this small town by scheming to steal the “Welcome to Stansle” sign from one of the main roads in the town.  However, as they unveil their plan, they begin to realize that not everything is going quite as planned for any of them.  In the end, they all discover a little bit about who they are, what they want and just how much it can take to escape.

I attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from the fall of 2003 through the spring of 2007 and received a degree in Communication Arts – Radio, Television and Film.  Throughout my college career, I worked on writing Your Signs with input from several other students along the way.  We began production during the summer of 2007, which then transformed into a massive project that is still in the works.  Your Signs is my first feature film in any aspect of film production.  I am currently writing and working on several other feature scripts.
